Privacy Policy

Hui Xin Mandarin Learning Center ('Hui Xin Mandarin Learning Center', or 'Company' or 'we' or 'our' 'us') recognizes the importance of, and is committed to protect and honor personal data security of each user ('User' or 'you') when accessing and using 'huixin.id' website ('Hui Xin Website'), 'Hui Xin' application, or any other feature, content and product that we provide (hereinafter shall together be referred to as the 'Platform').

This application is free and private which is only intended for Huixin students. This application is private only for members who are already enrolled in Huixin educational institutions. Membership numbers have been given to students by educational institutions when they register at Huixi.

For the registration process in this application, it is only used so that the student can use the application in its entirety if during registration the membership number is correct and registered at Huixin.

Personal data that we collect from and/or that Users provide through, and Users’ activity records on the Platform ('Personal Data') will be recorded and stored on the Platform.

By accessing and/or using and/or registering for an account on our Platform, you, or your parent or legal guardian in the event you fall under 18 (eighteen) years old and have not been married, represent, warrant and acknowledge that you, or your parent or legal guardian, have read and fully understand the contents and consequences of this Privacy policy, and irrevocably accept(s) and agree(s) to this Privacy Policy, and consent(s) to all practices on the Personal Data as described herein, including but not limited to procurement and collection, processing and analysis, storing, display, announcement, delivery, dissemination and/ or access-granting and extermination of Personal Data, pursuant to this Privacy Policy and any applicable laws and regulations di Indonesia.

Personal Data provided by the Users are submitted consciously and without any pressure or duress from any party. Completeness and security of the Personal Data, including Users’ account data (username and password), are under the full responsibility of the Users. We are not responsible and may not be held responsible for any misuse of any of such data due to the Users’ negligence.

Personal Data We Collect

Personal Data that we collect and store includes but not limited to:

  1. Information that you provide.

    The Platform obtains the information you provide when you download and register the Platform. When you register with us, you generally provide, including but not limited to:

    • your name, age, email address, location, phone number, password, photos, member code activation;
    • transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases, respond to any offers, or download or use our Platform;
    • information you provide us when you contact us for help;
    • information you enter into our system when using the the Platform, such as while asking doubts, participating in discussions and taking tests.

    The said information collected from the users could be categorized as “Personal Information”, “Sensitive Personal Information” and “Associated Information”. Personal Information, Sensitive Personal Information and Associated Information shall collectively be referred to as 'Information' in this Policy. We may use the Information to contact you from time to time, to provide you with the services, important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

  2. Information that we collect.

    We are entitled to collect information resulting from your visit to and activities on the Platform automatically, which includes information on, but not limited to:

    • technical information, which includes IP address used to connect your computer to the internet, your login information, browser type and version used, time zone settings, browser plug-in type and version, operation system and platform, the type of mobile devices, information about how you use the Platform;
    • information on your visit, which includes a complete list of URL visited which leads to, or visited through and from the Platform (including date and time of visit), products that you look or search for, page response time, download issues, duration of visit to certain pages on the Platform, information on interaction conducted on the page (e.g., scrolls, clicks and mouse movements), methods used to leave the Platform, and phone number used to contact Our customer service; and
    • your test scores, including but not limited to your test results from the Platform.
  3. Information that we gather from other sources.

    We are entitled to obtain information should you use other sites or applications that we operate or other services that we provide.We also collaborate with and are entitled to obtain information from third parties (including, but not limited to, business partners, subcontractors for technical services, payment and delivery services, web analytic tools provider and/or any services provider trough education platform which integrated with our Platform (subject to the terms set out in this Privacy Policy) and search engine providers (“Our Partners”)). We shall take reasonable steps to verify information that we obtain from other sources pursuant to prevailing laws and regulations.

Use of Personal Data

Hui Xin Mandarin Learning Center is entitled to use such data to:
  1. verify Personal Data on your account;
  2. subject to applicable laws and regulations, provide, or allow Our Partners (whether located within or outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia) to provide, information, our products and services, including any changes made thereto, to you;
  3. subject to applicable laws and regulations, conduct, or allow Our Partners (whether located within or outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia) to conduct research in order to enhance experience and service quality in using the Platform;
  4. information source in carrying out our product socialization, publication, or promotion;
  5. direct communication to the Platform Users; and
  6. comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

We may also use your non-personally identifiable information such as cookies and device identifier to enhance your experience when using our Platform, provide statistical information about their usage, administer our services on the Platform, troubleshoot, analyze trends, gather general demographic data, and to comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

Aggregated and individual, anonymized and non-anonymized data may periodically be transmitted to external service providers to help us improve the Platform. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described below in this Policy. We may use the individual data and behavior patterns combined with personal information to provide you with personalized content, and better your learning objectives. Third parties provide certain services which we may use to analyze the data and information to personalize, drive insights and help us better your experience or reach out to you with more value added applications, products, information and services. However, these third party companies do not have any independent right to share this information. We do not sell, trade or share your Information to any third party (except subsidiaries/affiliates of the Company for related offerings) unless, we have been expressly authorized by you either in writing or electronically to do so. We may at times provide aggregate statistics about our customers, traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third parties, however this information when disclosed will be in an aggregate form and does not contain any of your personally identifiable information. We will occasionally send email notices, messages or contact you to communicate about our services, products and benefits, as they are considered an essential part of the products or services you have chosen.

We may present links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve our customized content. Clicking on links may take you to sites outside our domain. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other web sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by our Platform.

We may alert you by email or phone (through sms/call) to inform you about new service offerings of the Company and its subsidiaries/affiliates or other information which we feel might be useful for you, through the Company or its subsidiaries/affiliates.

When you use certain features on our Platform like the discussion forums and you post or share your personal information such as comments, messages, files, videos, photos, will be available to all users, and will be in the public domain. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in your profile or when posting on our forums this information may become publicly available.

Your Rights

You may request for removal of your Personal Data on the Platform or to withdraw your consent for any or all collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Data by notifying us through our customer service on the contactpage. Upon receiving a notification from you to withdraw your consent for collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Data, we will inform you on the consequences that may occur from such consent withdrawal to enable you to decide whether to proceed with such withdrawal or not.

Data Confidentiality and Security

Your Personal Data will be stored and used by Hui Xin Mandarin Learning Center. We will not sell, disclose or provide your Personal Data to any third parties outside Hui Xin Mandarin Learning Center unless:

  1. we have your consent;
  2. we have a reason to believe that access to, use, storing or disclosure of the Personal Data is necessary to comply with the applicable laws and regulations, for any enforceable legal process or government requests or requirement, to carry out the relevant Terms of Use, including for investigation of any potential violation of the Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy, to detect, prevent or otherwise address any illegal activities, fraud, security or technical issues, or to protect our rights (including our officers, directors, commissioners, shareholders, predecessors, successors in interest, employees, advisors, Our Partners, subsidiaries and affiliates), other users or the public as required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations; or
  3. to Our Partners or any third party outside Hui Xin Mandarin Learning Center who has a need to know the Personal Data for the purpose of carrying out and/or enhancing the services on our Platform, has entered into a confidentiality agreement with Hui Xin Mandarin Learning Center and therefore is bound to confidentiality obligations similar to the obligations as set out herein.

We will use your Personal Data with the same degree of care, but in any event no less than a reasonable degree of care, as used in our own comparable affairs to keep confidential all Personal Data.

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your Information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect Information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this Information to authorized employees only who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Platform. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

The obligation to keep the Personal Data confidential shall not or no longer apply to Personal Data which:

  • is publicly known at the time of disclosure, or which becomes publicly known thereafter in ways other than by our acts or omissions;
  • is already known to us prior to the disclosure;
  • we properly obtained from a third party without any accompanying obligation to keep it confidential;
  • has been or is being developed by us independently of any Personal Data disclosed by you;
  • its disclosure has been authorized by you; and
  • is required by laws and regulations to be disclosed or to the extent required to be disclosed by, an order of a court, or of any other competent government authorities, in any country with jurisdiction.

You agree that Hui Xin Mandarin Learning Center will not be responsible for any breach of security relating for any message, information or document transmitted by you over the internet.

In the event of any failure to protect the Personal Data on the Platform occur, we will inform you in writing which can be delivered to you through any electronic services or manually with registered post.

Data Ownership

Subject to the provision of this Privacy Policy, no title, license, copyright or any other rights, regardless whether or not covered by intellectual and/or industrial property rights, are granted expressly or impliedly. All data relating to your personal information that you post, submit, transmit, upload or otherwise make available during your utilization of the Platform would still belong to you.

Currently, we plan to retain user data while an account is active and no deletion request by you. We may alter this practice according to legal or business requirements. For example, we may lengthen the retention period for some data if needed to comply with law or voluntary codes of conduct. Unless otherwise prohibited, we may shorten the retention period for some types of data if needed to free up storage space.

Change of Privacy Policy

We are entitled to change, modify, supplement or otherwise amend this Privacy Policy from time to time without the prior notification of our Users, and any of such changes will be shown on this page. We will inform any change or modification through e-mail or in-app notification, or other media. By continue using our Platform after such changes, modifications, supplements and/or amendments to the Privacy Policy, you consent to such changes, modifications supplements and/or amendments. When such changes, modifications supplements and/or amendments are made, we will revise the 'Last modified' date above and post the new Privacy Policy.

Language

This Privacy Policy is made in Indonesian language and English language. In the event of any inconsistency or different interpretation between the Indonesian language version and the English language version, you agree that the Indonesian language version will prevail to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict, and the relevant English language version is deemed to be automatically amended to be consistent with the relevant part of the Indonesian language version.

Trials & Tests

This application is only used by users who have registered with Huixin and have a unique member number that has been given by Huixin. For a trial please register using email or gmail or apple id. Then log in to the application and update "No Member" by clicking on the member's profile then entering "MH1001" as the tester account.
